Position: Aftersales Engineer
Location: Europe, Germany preferred
Role Overview:
As an Aftersales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding support after their purchase. You will be responsible for handling claims, providing technical assistance, testing, and troubleshooting LED power supplies, as well as conducting diagnostics and debugging of lighting control systems like DALI, Bluetooth, and Zigbee. If you have a strong electrical background, experience in lighting control systems, and a passion for customer satisfaction, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make an impact in the lighting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Addressing and resolving customer claims related to our lighting electronics products.
- Providing technical assistance to customers and guiding them through troubleshooting procedures.
- Conducting testing and troubleshooting of LED power supplies to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Performing thorough diagnostics and debugging of lighting control systems to ensure seamless functionality.
- Conducting on-site visits to customer locations or project sites for technical support and issue resolution.
- Collaborating with the technical support team and engineering department to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.
- Maintaining accurate records of service reports, customer interactions, and technical findings.
- Assisting in the development and improvement of aftersales processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German and Mandarin is a significant advantage.
- A solid background in electrical engineering, with a focus on lighting systems.
- Practical experience in handling lighting control systems, such as DALI, BLE, and ZIGBEE.
- Several years of relevant work experience in a similar technical aftersales role.
- Knowledge of electrical installations, especially in large-scale projects, will be highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations or project sites as required for support and assistance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
