CUPOWER joins ZVEI as a Member to intensify its commitment to Germany
As of July 1, 2024, CUPOWER has become a member of the ZVEI, the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association.
ZVEI's member companies range from global enterprises to medium-sized and family-owned businesses, employing about 90% of the workforce in Germany's electrical and digital sectors. The association's core activities include sharing experiences and perspectives on current technical, economic, legal, and social-political issues within the electrical industry. It also focuses on fostering innovation, enhancing industry conditions, and supporting international initiatives.
Given our ongoing expansion as a leading manufacturer of LED drivers with significant software and development expertise and our growing presence in Germany, it is an opportune moment for us to actively participate in ZVEI.
The industry faces numerous challenges, including regulatory demands, which present unique tasks for many companies. In terms of sustainability, we, like others, must tackle the challenge of determining the CO2 footprint of our products. Currently, there are no established guidelines for collecting and assessing CO2 data at the component level. We aim to learn from others' experiences and also contribute our expertise. Together, we seek to create effective solutions and processes that ensure our future viability, says Dirk Politowski, Managing Director of CUPOWER EUROPE GmbH.
