CUPOWER Declared Non-Infringing by the Unified Patent Court
The Unified Patent Court (UPC), Düsseldorf Local Division, has rendered its judgment in the case Tridonic GmbH & Co. KG v. CUPOWER. The Court dismissed all infringement claims brought by Tridonic, holding that CUPOWER' s products do not infringe the asserted Patent No. EP 2 011 218 B1 under the Court’s claim construction.
The Court determined that the design and technical implementation of the CUPOWER products at issue do not meet the specific claim features required by the asserted patent, and therefore, do not constitute patent infringement.
